SPACE is a new fund dedicated to supporting artistic and cultural sustainability in North Brooklyn communities. The SPACE Roundtable is an invitation to community leaders and organizations dedicated to arts and culture to collectively review the implementation process of SPACE.
ABOUT SPACE:
In order to support artistic and cultural sustainability in the communities which we develop, Slate Property Arts & Culture Endowment (SPACE), will provide community space and grants to support the collaborative artistic and cultural projects conceived by local artis, organizations and residents. The funding stream aims to facilitate the preservation of independent and diversified cultural landscapes and help raise the voices of those who are at risk of being excluded from participation. We understand that each of our communities have unique values, needs and lifestyle preferences and our mission is to meet those needs.
